Lights in 3DS Studio can be a point source or a spotlight, they use color and energy data and a target for the spotlight. The color and position of a light can be animated, the spotlight additionally has a target, beam angle and hotspot, wich can be animated. The lights and animation can be imported and exported, the spotlight can contain a projection bitmap, if an image is connected to a emission or colormixer, it will be exported. If a projection image has been found by the importer, it will be connected to a colormix node together with a RGB node for the color animation. The x/y scale of a spotlight will be exported in an aspect ratio chunk, the importer can calculate it back to x/y scale. The target data is calculated to Z and X axis angle for pan and tilt, Y is used for the roll angle.
Svetlá v 3DS Studio môžu byť bodovým zdrojom alebo reflektorom, používajú údaje o farbe a energii a cieľ pre reflektor. Farbu a polohu svetla možno animovať, reflektor má navyše cieľ, uhol lúča a horúci bod, ktoré možno animovať. Svetlá a animácie možno importovať a exportovať, reflektor môže obsahovať projekčnú bitmapu, ak je obrázok pripojený k emisii alebo Zmiešavaču farieb, bude exportovaný. Mierka x/y reflektora sa vyexportuje v časti s pomerom strán, importér ju môže prepočítať späť na mierku x/y. Cieľové údaje sa vypočítajú na uhol osi Z a X pre otáčanie a nakláňanie, Y sa použije pre uhol nakláňania.

Converts the selected mesh, or text object to a curve object. For mesh objects, only edges belonging to no faces will be taken into account. The resulting curve will be a poly curve type, but can be converted to have smooth segments as described in :ref:`bpy.ops.curve.spline_type_set`.
